Privacy Policy
How Aussie Saver handles information when you use our public website.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This policy applies to Aussie Saver and the public website at aussiesaver.com, which publishes independent Australian buying guides and promo-code information.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers the public Aussie Saver website. Separate receipt and mobile features are experimental and are not part of the current public website experience. The public website does not currently ask visitors to upload receipts, provide retailer passwords or payment information, or sign in with a consumer Google account.
Information we may handle
If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, message and any other information you choose to include. Please avoid sending information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Our hosting, content-delivery and infrastructure providers may also handle technical usage data such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referring pages, request details and error logs.
How we use information
We use information to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website; respond to enquiries; maintain and improve our content and offer information; and, where analytics is enabled, understand how visitors use the site.
Cookies and analytics
Where Google Analytics is enabled, it may collect website usage and device information and use cookies or similar identifiers. Google processes that information under its Privacy Policy.
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website functionality. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party links and affiliate referrals
Aussie Saver links to retailers and other third-party websites. Some links are affiliate links. After you click one, Amazon Associates or another partner network may use its own referral identifiers, cookies or similar technologies. Retailers process purchases and the information you give them under their own privacy policies; Aussie Saver does not process those purchases.
See our Affiliate Disclosure, Amazon's Privacy Notice, and the privacy notice of any retailer or partner you visit.
Planned Google Ads API research
Aussie Saver is planning a server-side Google Ads API integration to obtain aggregate keyword search-volume and competition information for editorial research about topics useful to Australian shoppers. This integration is not active yet.
If activated, the integration will use an account authorised by the operator. Visitors will not be asked to connect their Google accounts through the current website. Aggregate keyword metrics may be cached with limited authorised access, and credentials will be protected on the server. Google data will be used only for this editorial research purpose, not sold or used to identify individual searchers.
When information is disclosed and where it may be processed
Information may be handled by providers needed to run the website, including hosting and content-delivery providers, analytics providers where enabled, and email providers when you contact us. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or respond to a lawful request.
These providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States, depending on the provider and the location of its systems or personnel.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and the services involved, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We retain correspondence and technical logs only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described above and applicable legal requirements, then delete or de-identify them where practicable.
Your choices and requests
You can ask about personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, ask us to delete information, or make a privacy complaint by emailing kerchendayzzer@gmail.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. Some requests may be limited by legal, security or technical requirements, and we will explain any applicable limit.
If you are not satisfied with our response, information about privacy complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as the website and its services change. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
